About

Banango Projects Entrepreneurship Programmes

Banango Projects is a highly stimulating and competitive business simulation game that is at the core of all the programmes we offer and it is guaranteed to bring curriculum content to life. The programme will not only entertain learners but, more importantly, it will teach them valuable financial, planning and strategising skills.

The Banango Projects simulation game is facilitated by a presenter from Banango Projects and can be played during the course of a school day at school. In addition to the simulation learners complete subject and grade specific assessments that are of the highest standard and have been moderated and approved. It is fun, educational, relevant, controlled and very easy to implement.

The program has been tried and tested for over 15 years at more than 250 schools nationwide and the outcome of every game remains the same: that finance can be fun! Through Banango Projects, many thousands of people have discovered how much fun business strategising can be!

Our Style

Banango Projects programmes are fun, stimulating and interactive. Our experienced presenters are passionate about what they do and how they teach and they bring their own entrepreneurial skills to the game. The Banango Projects Entrepreneurship programmes are guaranteed to take the “fear factor” out of finance and put back the fun! Courses are presented in both English and Afrikaans.

About Banango Projects

Banango Projects is a division of Trimico Traders. Trimico Traders is a private-sector provider of SHERQ and software-related training. Peter van Ryneveld envisioned enabling young adults to be prepared as young businessmen and women across South Africa.

He designed and invented a game called Banango”— selling a fictitious fruit called a Banango: Banana and Mango. The game is played all over South Africa by more than 400 schools. Morne Meiring joined the company in 2017 and took Banango Traders to the next level, incorporating theme-aligned games and projects.
